Kerala being close to sea has had the influence of many different cultures, way back to centuries from the Dutch, Europeans, Arabs, and different people who have come to Kerala and created the spice route with other parts of the world. Kerala is rich in diversity, culture and its unique beauty makes it a favourite tourist destination loved by all who gets to visit, with its back waters, lagoons, beaches, and more…
Kerala being diverse has its share of people from different religions like Hindus, Muslims, Jews, Christians and many others. Kerala is famous for Syrian Christian, Malabar and Travancore Recipes which offers flavours which will be liked by one and all.

The renowned “Karimeen Pollichathu” which is a fish called Karimeen(Pearl spot Fish) which is found in the backwaters and lagoons of Kerala is so good and tasty and is a must try for food lovers, which is done in banana leaf.

The Kuttanadan Duck Roast will be loved by all, made with spices that which is a roasted duck delicacy. Then there are dishes like Fish Moilee, which every Keralite makes in their household is a home speciality. Then there is the Travancore Fried Chicken, Malabar Biriyani and other specialities which are special in their own ways.
